At 11pm on Monday evening, the police were alerted to a shooting at a gate to an apartment building at Bagartorpsringen in Solna, north of Stockholm. A few hours later, two more shootings at apartment buildings took place in the Stockholm region, in Sollentuna and Kista respectively.
